All fine, but old elevators

The pool scenery was the highlight of my stay! It was warm and inviting. My room was spacious and clean, but I wish the breakfast had more variety.

The outdoor swimming pool was my favorite spot to unwind after a long day. I soaked up the sun on a comfortable lounger while enjoying the beautiful garden area around me. The warm ambiance.

The hotel's renovation brings a contemporary vibe with bright spaces and wood accents that create a pleasant atmosphere throughout the common areas.

The pool's advertised heating fell short, leaving it cooler than expected, which was a disappointment for those who love a warm dip. The bathroom layout posed a challenge with a clunky pocket door; my kids struggled to operate it, as did I sometimes. the parking situation represents a concern, with a daily fee attached to an open lot that anyone can access, giving it a bit of a sketchy feel.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel! The location was perfect for visiting the local beach, and my room was spacious and comfortable. The staff greeted me with warm cookies at check-in, which added a personal touch. However, the parking fees were a bit of a downside.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating, with Joe at the front desk being exceptionally attentive. Check-in and checkout were quick and seamless. Our room was clean and included all essentials like toiletries, a mini fridge, and steady wifi. The pool area was a bonus for relaxation!

Encountered some hiccups during the stay, like the heater cover nearly falling off and the overall cleanliness not being up to par. The breakfast buffet felt overpriced for the quality, as the food was dry and uninviting. The elevators are painfully slow, and navigating to the stairs took a frustratingly long walk away from the main area.

I had a good stay at the Doubletree San Diego-Del Mar. The warm cookies upon arrival brought comfort after a long journey. The pool area offers a lovely oasis for relaxation. Minor issues like slow elevators didn't overshadow my pleasant experience.
